2nd International Graphic Design Days 10-13 May 2022

The graphic department organized the 2nd International Bodrum Graphic Design Days with the idea of ​​overcoming the weight of the pandemic and reviving the old enthusiastic days of face-to-face education.
In this event, we aimed to enrich design education by organizing seminars, workshops, and exhibitions with nationally and internationally respected academicians and designers and to gain students with new perspectives and experiences in design.
 
In our event, seminars were held on the first day (May 10, 2022), and as a result of the information gained in these seminars, our students selected and determined the workshop they would attend on the second day (May 10, 2022). Again, on the first day, the exhibition “Respect to the Masters: Mengü Ertel, the Pioneer of Contemporary Poster in Turkey” was organized, and as a surprise, his son Murat Ertel and Esma Ertel from the Babazula music group performed music “dedicated to Mengü Ertel” at the opening of this exhibition.
The workshops started on the second day (May 10, 2022) and were completed on the fourth day (May 13, 2022). The designs from these workshops were presented and evaluated collectively in the Yeşil Salon.
Again, within the scope of the event, the Calligraphy exhibition of Graphics Department Res. Asst. Almıla Yıldırım, which opened on May 11, 2022, enriched our event.

The 2nd International Bodrum Graphic Design Days, organized by Muğla Sıtkı Koçman University Bodrum Faculty of Fine Arts Graphics Department, was completed with very productive and full of events, and we hope to see you again at our next event.
