Graphic Design Department, with the education program it applies, aims to improve the creative and individual capacity of expression and to bring these achievements to a universal extent by turning them into contemporary visual language. In Graphic Design Department, it is aimed to give the students education of design by which they can develop their problem describing, researching, analyzing skills, and use visual communication language properly.
National and international designers are invited for seminars, conferences, workshops, and exhibitions. Every year, the education system is supported by participation in activities among universities such as “Grafist” and “Genç Beyin Fırtınası.” Graduating students can work as graphic designers, art directors, commercial photographers, illustrators in private firms or public institutions, or they can run their professional business as independent graphic designers, or build academic careers. In addition to four-year undergraduate education, Graphic Design Department also gives postgraduate (Master Thesis) education.
